Newcomb Institute
Conference Presentation/Attendance Grants

Award Value:

Eligibility & Uses:
These grants will fund travel expenses for undergraduate students who present papers, participate in a panel, or attend professional academic meetings. Preference is given to presenters or panel participants over conference attendees, and proof of submission or acceptance must be included with the proposal.

Grace Hopper Celebration Grants

Award Value:
Travel Grant up to $1000. Newcomb Institute arranges the travel for selected students and covers conference registration, hotel, and airfare.

Eligibility & Uses:
Juniors and seniors. The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world's largest gathering of women technologists. Eligible undergraduates must indicate an active interest in feminist leadership and seek a job or internship in the technology industry.

Up to $1,000 for individuals, and up to $3,000 for groups of two or more students

Eligibility & Uses:
Students who are presenting at an academic conference are eligible for funding consideration for travel, lodging, and registration costs.

The 15th of the month at 5:00 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. (August – November and January – April)

Funding support for students interested in pursuing opportunities related to social innovation, social entrepreneurship, changemaking, or design thinking.
